Rokas Rasimavičius will continue to represent the FK Panevėžys next season.
In June, 23-year-old right-back Rasimavičius, a native of Panevėžys, rejoined his hometown club after playing for DFK Dainava Alytus. He went on to play 15 matches in the Lithuanian Championship while wearing the Panevėžys shirt. He also participated in four Champions League qualifying matches and two matches each in the Europa League and the Conference League qualifying games.
“During my time in Panevėžys, I gained much experience, especially in European tournaments, which significantly contributed to my development. I am pleased that we’ve evaluated our performances, identified areas for improvement, and recognized our potential to achieve great things. Although our position in the championship standings was disappointing, challenges like these often lead to greater determination. This experience has provided me with self-confidence and substantial personal growth, which I believe will help me achieve even better results in the coming season,” Rasimavičius shared with the fk-panevezys.lt website.
“The disappointing standing from last season drives my motivation to improve, and I am eager to demonstrate that we are one of the leading teams in the A Lyga and capable of competing in European tournaments again,” Rasimavičius added.
“Panevėžys” will hold its first training session on January 6 in preparation for the 2025 season.
