FK Kauno Žalgiris have confirmed winger and full-back Oyinlola Kayode has left the club after his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.
The 23-year-old Nigerian joined the TOPLYGA champions in mid-2021, with the Kaunas side his first professional club in Europe. He also spent time on loan at Sūduva in 2023.
Kayode made 44 appearances for Kauno Žalgiris’ first team, scoring three goals and providing six assists. He also scored three times for the club’s B team in Lithuania’s second division.
Kauno Žalgiris thanked Kayode for his time at the club and wished him well for the next stage of his career.
