Estonian bronze medalist Paide Linnameeskond has announced their first offseason signing: striker Sten Reinkort, who has agreed to a two-year contract.

This year, the 26-year-old Reinkort started in the League of Ireland for Bohemians FC, where he made eight appearances and scored once. In the summer, he joined Sanliurfaspor in the Turkish Second League and made three appearances. Before trying his luck abroad, he played in the Estonian Premium Liiga for Tartu Tammeka, Tallinn FC Flora, and FC Kuressaare.

Reinkort, who became the Estonian champion in 2023 with FC Flora, has scored 40 goals in 163 games in the Premium Liiga. In January of the same year, he debuted for the national team during a friendly match against Finland. Last year, he represented Estonia in a total of five games.

“I am thrilled to join Paide Linnameeskond,” Reinkort told the club’s press service. “The club has high ambitions and goals, and I will do everything possible to help lift the championship trophy with the team next year!”

Paide’s sports director, Gert Kams, expressed excitement about the new addition. “Sten is a striker with qualities that add speed and power to any team. His strength and unpredictability are major assets, and his addition provides us with various options for attack. Sten’s profile aligns perfectly with our game plan. Welcome to Paide!” he stated on the club’s social media page.
