Erik Sorga was named in HB Tórshavn’s starting line-up as the top-flight side booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Faroese Cup.
The Estonia forward, who has previously been limited to substitute appearances in league action, played 64 minutes in the last-16 tie against second-tier outfit Sandur, almost tripling his total playing time for his new club to date.
HB were already 2-0 up when Sorga was withdrawn and the scoreline remained unchanged through to full-time. Storm Bugge Pettersen opened the scoring in the 11th minute, before Aki Johannesen doubled the lead five minutes later.
