Gambia’s National Team goalkeeper Ebrima Jarju was voted Paide’s “player of the year” for a second year in a row, the club announced on their social media.
The 26-year-old Gambian earned 38 out of a possible 90 points in the internal team vote, just four points ahead of the 17yo midfielder Patrik Kristal. Midfielder Dimitri Jepihhin came in third with 23 points, another Gambian – striker Abdoulie Ceesay – collected 21, and wingers Robi Saarma and Henrik Ojamaa 20 and 17 points respectively.
The best young player award went to Kristal, and the best goal to Oskar Hõim for his goal against Bala Town in the Conference League qualifiers earlier this year.
As for the fan’s favourite, Abdoulie Ceesay took the honours.
Saarma claimed the top scorer award with 15 goals, closely followed by Ceesay with 13 and then Jepihhin with 8.
