Hegelmann have completed their coaching line-up for the 2026 campaign with the announcement of Spaniard Mikel Aramburu Erneta as new head coach. Vilkevičius, Folkins and Skaržauskas will remain, whereas Mantas Fridrikas will join the coaching staff as the A Lyga club continues to reshape its sporting structure ahead of the new season.
UEFA Pro-licensed Spaniard Mikel Aramburu Erneta will lead the first team, with Tadas Vilkevičius set to remain on the staff for a seventh straight season as one of the long-standing figures behind the club’s football direction. Erneta was recently announced as joining the club, although it was not then confirmed that he will lead the team in place of Tadas Vilkevičius, who was caretaker manager after the departure of Andrius Skerla.
Erikas Folkis will also stay on, combining a role in the senior set-up with head coach duties for Hegelmann’s B team as the club looks to keep a clear pathway between the first team and young players.
Former Hegelmann player Mantas Fridrikas has been added to the first-team staff. The 37-year-old spent the past two seasons working alongside Vilkevičius with the B team and is well known at the club, having made 80 appearances before ending his playing career there. He earned his UEFA B licence in January 2023 and later joined the Hegelmann academy coaching set-up.
Goalkeeper coach Arijus Skaržauskas will continue his work with the first-team keepers.
