FK Sūduva have added defender Ernestas Stočkūnas to their squad ahead of the 2026 season.
The 27-year-old, born in Alytus, moved to Vilnius at a young age and featured for both Žalgiris reserves and the first team. He later joined Riteriai in 2018 and has since played for Dainava, Banga and Transinvest.
Stočkūnas spent last season with Dainava, making 34 A Lyga appearances. He registered two assists and received eight yellow cards.
He said discussions with head coach Donatas Vencevičius and director Dovydas Lastauskas helped him make the move quickly, adding he believes the club can be even stronger this year.
Stočkūnas has already taken part in his first training session with the team and praised the club’s organisation. He added that qualifying for European competition is a key target for the season.
Sūduva begin their pre-season schedule with a friendly on 17 January.
