Estonian national team full-back Vlasi Sinjavski is set to leave Czech top-flight club Bohemians, the club confirmed today as the squad returned to training following the winter break.
The 29-year-old defender joined the Prague-based side last summer after spending several seasons with fellow Czech club Slovácko. However, when Bohemians resumed training today after a short winter pause, Sinjavski was notably absent despite having been a regular during the first half of the season.
In an official statement, Bohemians confirmed that Sinjavski is currently in the process of completing a transfer, which explains his absence from training. The Estonian international made 19 league appearances in his first season with the club, providing four assists.
According to Czech media reports, Bohemians have set an asking price of over one million euros for the defender, who arrived as a free agent in the summer. While no deal has yet been finalized, Sinjavski will likely remain in the Czech First League, with Baník Ostrava most frequently mentioned as a potential destination.
A 48-time Estonia international, Sinjavski is currently in his sixth season in the Czech top division. Across spells with Karviná, Slovácko and Bohemians, he has made 146 appearances in the Czech First League, scoring ten goals.
