FK Panevėžys and Ernestas Veliulis remain inseparable, as the club has reached a new agreement with the hometown player that will keep him at his boyhood side for the next two seasons.
Veliulis is already a historic figure at Panevėžys, holding the record for most official appearances for the club and standing as the only player to surpass the 200-match milestone.
During his time with the Aukštaitija capital shirt, the wide midfielder has won all five major titles in the club’s history, lifting the A Lyga trophy once and claiming the LFF Cup and Super Cup twice each.
In the most recent Lithuanian championship season, Veliulis featured in 33 matches, scoring six goals and providing seven assists.
Panevėžys will return to training on Monday, January 5, as preparations begin for the upcoming season.
