FK Kauno Žalgiris have said goodbye to another member of their title-winning squad, as midfielder Temur Chogadze prepares to look for a new club ahead of the 2026 season.
The 27-year-old Georgian joined the Kaunas side at the beginning of 2025 and went on to make 38 appearances across all competitions. During his single season in Lithuania, he scored six goals and provided three assists while wearing the green-and-white shirt.
“I’m very happy that Kauno Žalgiris became Lithuanian champions and that I had the chance to be part of this team. Together with amazing teammates and a great coaching staff, we did an excellent job. I’ll remember this season as one of the best of my career,” Chogadze said in his farewell message.
Chogadze played an important role in the club’s push for their first championship title, scoring key goals against Žalgiris Vilnius and FC Hegelmann. He also found the net against Valur in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
FK Kauno Žalgiris thank Temur Chogadze for his contribution during the 2025 season and wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.
