Lithuanian Cup winners FK Panevėžys have announced that German coach Roland Vrabec will continue working with the team through the 2026 season, after both sides agreed on a contract extension.
The 51-year-old German specialist joined Panevėžys ahead of this season and immediately made his mark, guiding the club to victory in the Lithuanian Cup final against Hegelmann, securing the team’s place in next year’s European competitions.
In the domestic league, A Lyga, Panevėžys finished in sixth place under Vrabec’s guidance.
Before arriving in Lithuania, Vrabec had managed several clubs across Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Denmark.
