In the Swedish Allsvenskan, Estonian international goalkeeper Matvei Igonen secured his first clean sheet of the season, helping Degerfors IF snap a seven-match losing streak with a 0–0 home draw against Norrköping.

The 28-year-old shot-stopper, who made his Allsvenskan debut just last week in a 0-3 defeat to GAIS, was once again in the starting lineup. This time, he had a quiet evening in goal, needing to make only one save, which he handled with ease.

Despite dominating the match, Degerfors will be left wondering how they didn’t walk away with all three points. The hosts created at least five clear-cut scoring chances but failed to capitalize – either missing the target or being denied by outstanding goalkeeping from the Norrköping side.

Still, the clean sheet marks a positive step forward for Degerfors IF, who remain just above the relegation zone. Their next challenge comes a week from Monday, when they travel to face IFK Göteborg, with Igonen expected to retain his spot between the posts.
