Estonian youth international Aleksandr Lohmatov (18) has completed a move within Italy, leaving Torino to join Frosinone’s U20 squad. The transfer was confirmed by his agency, GlobalGroup11.

Lohmatov will link up with a Frosinone U20 side riding high after a successful season in the Italian Primavera 2 league, where they topped their group and earned promotion to the top-tier Primavera 1 for the upcoming campaign.

Born in Narva, Lohmatov began his youth career in Estonia, playing for Sillamäe Kalev, Kohtla-Järve Viru Star, Narva Trans, and Tallinna Ararat. In early 2023, he made the jump abroad by joining the youth setup at Torino.

Last season, he spent time on loan at Sanremese in Serie D, Italy’s fourth-tier men’s league. There, he made 24 appearances—17 of them starts—and scored one goal.

Lohmatov has also been a regular fixture in Estonia’s youth national teams, earning 22 caps across the U16, U17, and U19 levels.
