The 20-year-old Ukrainian winger Maksym Derkach has joined FK Tukums on loan until the end of the season from RFS.
Derkach joined RFS in the summer of 2024, mostly appearing in the Nākotnes Līga for RFS reserves team. Towards the end of the season, he was given his chance in the senior team, also playing a role in RFS’ road to Latvian Cup glory.
However, this season he has spent more time on the sidelines than on the pitch, having made just four appearances for RFS-2, including the friendly against Aris Limassol.
Now that he’s fully recovered from the injury, he will spend the remainder of the season at Tukums, hoping to get some regular minutes in the league.
