Estonian champions FCI Levadia, preparing for their UEFA Champions League first qualifying round tie against Latvia’s FC RFS, have submitted their squad to UEFA.
Under the regulations, clubs must register 25 players, including at least 2 goalkeepers. They must also include a minimum of 8 “homegrown” players, of whom 4 must be club-trained (i.e. developed at Levadia between ages 15–21) and the other 4 can be association-trained (trained at other Estonian clubs in the same age window).
Levadia in total have 17 association-trained players, including the four players who are named on the B Squad. While they have registered just 23 out of 25 possible spots in the A squad, as Levadia don’t have reached the minimal four club-trained players list.
Only notable player missing from the list is Ghanaian Left-winger Enock Otoo who’s season likely has ended because of an long-term injury, meanwhile the only summer signing manager’s Curro Torres son Carlos is named in the list.
