Czech club SK Artis Brno (formerly known as SK Líšeň) have announced the signing of Senegalese full-back Hamidou Kante on loan from Latvian side SK Super Nova. The deal includes an option to make the move permanent.

The 20-year-old left-back joined SK Super Nova ahead of the current Virslīga season and quickly made an impression with his pace and defensive abilities. In his debut campaign in Latvian top-flight football, Kante featured in 19 matches, becoming a key part of Super Nova’s backline.

Before arriving in Latvia, Kante played for Elite Falcons in the United Arab Emirates
