Twenty-year-old central defender Artur Voilenko has signed a contract with the German Regionalliga team FC Rot-Weiß, valid until June 2026.

Voilenko, who developed through the youth system of FCI Levadia Tallinn, previously made 87 appearances for FCI Levadia’s U21 team in the Esiliiga, the second-highest division in Estonia. In January 2024, he moved from Estonia to the Lithuanian club FC Klaipeda Sirijus.

After a year in Lithuania, Voilenko, who has made four appearances for the Estonian U19 national team, has now signed with Rot-Weiß Erfurt. The team currently holds third place in the 18-team northeast zone of Germany’s fourth-strongest league after 20 games.

FC Rot-Weiß head coach Fabian Gerber commented on the new signing: “Artur is a very talented player whom we want to develop and train carefully for the first team. It’s great to see that we have a good reputation outside of Germany. Welcome to our beautiful flower city, Artur.”
