Estonian forward Oliver Jürgens has parted ways with the Spanish club SD Ponferradina following a mutual agreement, the team announced on their website.

The 21-year-old joined the third-division Spanish side SD Ponferradina last summer after a brief stint with Slovakian club Dunajska Streda, where he played for half a season.

During this season, Jürgens made a total of five appearances in the Spanish third division for Ponferradina, coming off the bench in all matches and accumulating just 84 minutes of playtime.

A product of the Nomme United youth academy, Jürgens moved to Italy at the age of 16, where he joined Hellas Verona. He subsequently played within the youth systems of AS Roma, Inter Milan, and Torino FC. However, he has struggled to transition from youth to professional football. After an impressive Primavera 1 season with Torino in 2022/23, he moved to Hungary, where he played for Ujpest. Following eight appearances with that team, he left and subsequently joined Dunajska Streda in Slovakia, where he made only seven appearances.

Now, a year and a half after leaving Torino, Oliver finds himself again as a free agent, as he leaves his third team during this period.
